RBI keeps repo rate unchanged at record low of 4% for 8th time in a row

The RBI's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) on Friday decided to maintain its "accommodative stance" and keep the repo rate unchanged at a record low of 4% and reverse repo rate at 3.35%. The rates were also left unchanged during the last MPC meeting in August 2021. This is the eighth straight time that the repo rate has been unchanged at 4%.
