Reliance New Energy Solar to acquire 40% stake in Sterling & Wilson Solar

Reliance New Energy Solar, a unit of Reliance Industries, on Sunday said it will acquire a 40% stake in Sterling & Wilson Solar through a combination of primary investment, a secondary purchase, and an open offer. It has acquired a 15.46% stake in the firm for around ₹1,100 crores. Additionally, Sterling & Wilson's promoters will sell 1.84 crore shares to Reliance.
