Instagram to let users post photos, videos from desktop web browser

Instagram will allow users to post both photos and videos in less than one minute using their desktop web browser, starting October 21. The platform announced several features that will roll out this week, including a Collabs test to let two people co-author posts and Reels. Instagram will also begin testing features to start nonprofit fundraisers from the new post button.

This feature had been spotted ahead of this week’s launch by the developer and reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi, who found the new fundraiser button in development back in September.
