Major airlines including Air India canceled some flights to the US fearing C-band 5G signals will disrupt navigation systems. Airlines said the 5G radio network necessary for the rollout is on a similar radio spectrum to 'radar altimeter'. The 'radar altimeter' is a critical piece of instrumentation pilots use to get readings of an airplane's exact height above the ground.
