Researchers from US Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) discovered "compelling evidence" of an underground ocean buried beneath the surface of Saturn's 'Death-Star' moon, Mimas. "If Mimas has an ocean, it represents a new class of small, 'stealth' ocean worlds..." said SwRI's Dr. Alyssa Rhoden. Earlier, the team believed the moon to be a frozen ice block due to its heavily cratered surface.
