WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said an investigation is underway into alleged reports that the UN health agency's top official in the Western Pacific engaged in racist, unethical and abusive behavior. "We take these...allegations seriously and we have acted with urgency," he added. Several staffers of the Manila-based WHO office had made the allegations against Dr. Takeshi Kasai.
