Vedanta makes oil discovery in Rajasthan's Barmer

Vedanta in a statement said, "We've informed the Petroleum Ministry of an Oil Discovery (named 'Durga') in our exploratory well in Rajasthan's Barmer." The block where the discovery was made was awarded to Vedanta in October 2018 and is one of the 41 blocks awarded to it in the OALP-I round of bidding. Vedanta holds 100% participating interest in the block.
