SC directs 6 banks to release ₹1,200 cr for stalled Amrapali projects

The Supreme Court has ordered six banks to release ₹1,200 crores before March 14 to aid the National Buildings Constructions Corporation (NBCC) in completing Amrapali's stalled projects. Bank of Baroda, the consortium's lead bank, told SC that it has already infused its share of ₹300 crores. NBCC said it'll also be conducting an independent structural audit of Amrapali's under-construction projects.
