Train services between Bihar's Kosi and Mithila, which had stopped following the 1934 earthquake, have been restored after 88 years with the launch of a passenger train between Jhanjharpur and Nirmali. The train was virtually flagged off by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Saturday. The train services will reduce the distance between Jhanjharpur to Saharsa by about 100 km.
