Jet fuel prices hiked by 5% to climb new record high in Delhi

Prices of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) have been hiked by 5% to reach a record-high of ₹1,23,039.71 per kilolitre (₹123.03 per liter) in Delhi, as per a price notification of state-owned fuel retailers. Jet fuel makes up 40% of the running cost of an airline and ATF prices have been hiked every fortnight since the beginning of 2022.
