Apple to raise hourly workers' starting pay in US to at least $22: WSJ

Apple has informed its employees that it will be increasing the starting pay for hourly workers to a minimum of $22 per hour, and higher in certain markets, the Wall Street Journal reported. The new starting wage represents a 45% increase compared to 2018. Starting salaries in the US are also expected to increase.
