Indian wrestler Sakshi Malik won her first CWG gold medal after defeating Ana Godinez Gonzalez of Canada in the women's freestyle 62 kg final at CWG 2022. Overall, it is her third medal in CWG history after her silver at CWG 2014 and bronze at CWG 2018. India have now bagged eight gold medals at CWG 2022 so far.
