Air pollution causes brain damage in children: Study

According to a new study, exposure to air pollution causes brain damage raising the risk of depression, stress and autism in children. The study showed that children who lived near busy roads and were exposed to traffic-related chemicals had abnormal white matter, which is linked to psychiatric problems, including depressive symptoms, anxiety and autism spectrum disorders.
