Govt launches welfare fund donation website for martyrs' families

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched 'Maa Bharati Ke Sapoot' website on Friday that will enable Indian citizens to financially contribute to the Armed Forces Battle Casualties Welfare Fund (AFBCWF). Amitabh Bachchan is the 'Goodwill Ambassador' of the portal. The website was launched at an event at National War Memorial complex. AFBCWF provides financial aid to families of battle casualties.
