ISRO's heaviest rocket with 36 broadband satellites launched from Sriharikota

ISRO's heaviest rocket LVM3 with 36 broadband satellites onboard was launched from Sriharikota. The satellites belonged to OneWeb, a private communications firm, in which India's Bharti Enterprises is a major investor and shareholder. It is the first commercial mission of LVM3. Further, it is the first time an Indian rocket has been launched with six-ton payload, as per ISRO.
