The National Basketball Association (NBA) has announced that it has renamed its Most Valuable Player (MVP) award as The Michael Jordan Trophy. The Jordan trophy will stand 23.6 inches tall and weigh 23.6 pounds but is not a depiction of him. Jordan, who is a five-time MVP winner, was involved in the entire design process, said designer Mark Smith.
