Industry body IAMAI calls Data Protection Bill 'industry-friendly'

Industry body Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) called the Digital Personal Data Protection Bill "industry friendly". IAMAI said the Bill protects interests of the data principles yet also leaves enough room for tech startups to innovate and grow. However, IAMAI has also sought clarifications regarding timeline for implementing various provisions of the Bill.
