US to start accepting H-1B visa applications from March 1

The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that it will begin accepting applications for H-1B visas for the fiscal year 2023-24 from March 1. The application window will close on March 17. The H-1B visa allocations are capped at 85,000 visas per year, with 20,000 of those reserved for workers holding advanced degrees from US institutions.
