India sends quake aid to Syria via Army contingent on UN mission

India has sent relief material to earthquake-hit Syria via an Army contingent deployed at the occupied Golan Heights on a United Nations (UN) mission. The material, which was delivered at Aleppo, includes rations and medicines from the Indian government as well as contributions from the international community. The Army reportedly deployed 180 personnel to provide logistics support to the mission.
