Real GDP is projected to grow by 7% in 2022-23: Finance MoS

Real GDP is projected to grow by 9.1% in 2021-22 (first RE) and 7% in 2022-23 (second AE), MoS for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary said in Lok Sabha. The numbers are according to the latest estimates of National Income released by the National Statistical Office. The IMF and the World Bank projected India to be the fastest-growing major economy in 2023.
