Airlines to fly 4.4% more domestic flights in summer: DGCA

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said 11 Indian carriers will operate 22,907 domestic flights weekly as part of this year's summer schedule, up 4.4% from 21,941 weekly flights in the ongoing winter schedule. However, SpiceJet, Vistara and AirAsia India will be operating fewer flights than the winter schedule. SpiceJet will operate almost 30% fewer flights.
