By 2047, 9% of India's power will be nuclear-based: Jitendra Singh

India will get 9% of its electricity from nuclear sources by 2047, said Union Minister Jitendra Singh. He added that the rising share of nuclear power in India's energy basket would help it get closer to achieving net zero target by 2070. He further said India has a target of achieving 20 GW capacity of nuclear power generation by 2030.
