Google bans 36 apps, urges users to delete them immediately

Google has banned 36 Android apps from its Play Store, which were first reported to be a privacy-invasive threat by McAfee. The computer security firm had found over 60 apps with over 100 million downloads containing Goldoson, a third-party malicious library. The over 14 remaining apps have been updated and Google has asked users to immediately delete the banned apps.
