SEBI seeks 6-month extension to complete probe into Adani matter

SEBI has filed an application in the Supreme Court, requesting a six-month extension to complete its investigation into Hindenburg allegations against the Adani Group. The court had directed SEBI to investigate whether there has been a violation of Section 19 of SEBI rules and whether there was manipulation of stock prices. It ordered SEBI to conduct investigation within two months.
