upGrad to invest $10 mn to launch medical institute in Vanuatu

Edtech startup upGrad on Tuesday announced it would be launching a medical institute in the Republic of Vanuatu with an investment of $10 million. The upGrad Institute of Medical Sciences (UIMS) plans to start accepting applications in the second half of June. The startup raised ₹300 crore through an internal rights issue in March.
