Shares of Reliance's RSIL listed at ₹261.85 on demerger day

At the end of a special trading session, shares of Reliance Strategic Investments (RSIL) listed at ₹261.85, much higher than analysts' estimates of ₹160-190. RSIL will be demerged from Reliance Industries on Thursday. It'll be renamed as Jio Financial Services (JFS) following the demerger. Reliance shareholders will get one share of Jio Financial Services for holding one share of Reliance.
