First supermoon of August seen around the world, pics surface

The first of two supermoons in August occurred on August 1 and pictures of the supermoon from around the world have been shared online. The supermoon, called the 'Sturgeon Moon', was also visible from places in India including Delhi, Lucknow, Bengaluru and Punjab. Another rare blue supermoon will be visible on August 30.
