"The Prime Minister's Office has directed all working groups formed on the G20 outcomes to file a monthly report on the progress made even as preparations have begun for the virtual summit of the grouping that was suggested by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is likely to take place in November".
"Principal secretary to the PM, PK Mishra, held a meeting on Wednesday to review the follow-up on the outcomes of the G20 summit held here on September 9-10. According to a government statement, Mishra stated that the summit was not a one-time affair and the concrete outcomes under India's presidency are being worked up and the progress monitored closely. All ministries, which are leading the working groups formed after the summit, are being tasked to implement their sector-specific outcomes."
"A high-level monitoring group is being set up and the working groups will be required to submit monthly reports on the progress made.
Mishra also directed officials to begin preparations for the G20 virtual summit, a new proposal made by the prime minister to the heads of states and governments attending the conclave here in September. The G20 secretariat, Department of Economic Affairs and ministry of external affairs are working closely to make the virtual G20 summit a success."
