Apple patents tech to wirelessly charge accessories via device display

Apple is working on a technology that will enable wireless charging of accessories through the display face of devices, a patent published by USPTO revealed. "At least a portion of the display face may be transparent to facilitate display viewing," the patent says. Apple previously patented technology to use MacBook's lid, palm rest, or trackpad to wirelessly charge iOS devices.
