200 startups to get ₹50 lakh seed funding each in Karnataka

Karnataka IT Minister Dr. Ashwathnarayan CN said that the state government will provide 200 startups with seed funding of ₹50 lakh each in the current year to promote technological innovation in the state. Addressing the first National Startup Day, he said, "The seed funding will be facilitated to additional 75 startups to [take] tally to 200 startups in a year."
