New policy to cut green hydrogen cost by 40-50%: India's largest oil firm IOC

India's largest oil firm Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has said that the offer to waive transmission charges on green energy will help cut the cost of manufacturing green hydrogen by 40-50%. The cost will go down further if electrolyzers are indigenously manufactured instead of the present practice of importing them, said Director for Research & Development S.S.V. Ramakumar
