European Space Agency celebrates launch of Vega-C rocket

The European Space Agency celebrated the first flight of its Vega-C rocket on Wednesday. Vega-C is an upgraded module of the Vega rocket introduced in 2012, with the latest version capable of carrying heavier payloads while burning lesser fuel. The agency said Vega-C will be used to send Earth observation satellites and an uncrewed robotic laboratory.
