Artificial satellites spoiling space images taken by Hubble: Study

Scientists have said that artificial satellites are contaminating observations made in orbit and even spoiling images taken by NASA's Hubble telescope. In their observation of images taken by Hubble from 2002-2021, scientists found a fraction of 2.7% of the individual exposures, with an exposure time typical of 11 minutes, crossed by satellites, leaving traces across images.
