JSPL to manufacture India's 1st fire-resistant steel structures

Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) said it has received BIS certification to manufacture India's first fire-resistant steel structures at its rail mill in Chhattisgarh. The BIS 15103 grade structural steels are designed to withstand temperatures up to 600 degrees celsius for three hours, JSPL stated. It will now target segments like refineries, bridges, metro projects and industrial structures.
