“Corona Virus-Pandemic for all”

It starts with a cough, a fever and difficulty breathing. For others, it begins with a dulled sense of taste and smell. And for a yet untold number of people, it’s marked by nothing at all. You might get so sick from it that you need to be hospitalized and placed on a ventilator. You might just think you have a regular cold. Or you may not even know you have it in the first place.

These are the mysteries of COVID-19, the disease that’s become a global pandemic and has sent medical experts racing to uncover its secrets.

The deadly novel coronavirus has killed nearly seven lakh people and infected more than 17 million across the world. From rich to poor and celebrities to powerful politicians, the list of coronavirus patients and victims included all. The virus sees no caste, creed, or religion. It attacks humans equally. The virus spares none. From Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro to India Home Minister Amit Shah and from Hollywood actor Tom Hanks to Hindi Cinema legend Amitabh Bachchan, several famous, rich and powerful people have contracted the coronavirus infection since it first emerged in December last year in China Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday  announced that his coronavirus test result has come positive and that he has been admitted to hospital after developing initial symptoms of the deadly disease coronavirus that has claimed close to 35800 lives in India. 55-year-old Shah said that he has tested positive for coronavirus and is getting admitted to a hospital following the advice of doctors. "I have undergone a coronavirus test after showing initial symptoms and have tested positive. My health is fine but I am getting admitted to a hospital on the advice of doctors," he tweeted in Hindi.

The home minister also requested those who had come in contact with him in the last few days to get tested for coronavirus and isolate themselves.

Meanwhile, veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan who had previously tested positive for coronavirus has now tested negative and has been discharged from the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. He has now been advised home rest.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan also contracted the virus. He underwent treatment at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital and discharged on Sunday after testing negative for the virus. His son Abhishek also tested coronavirus positive. Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro has tested positive for coronavirus.

He took the test, his fourth, on Monday after developing symptoms, including a high temperature.

Mr Bolsonaro has repeatedly played down risks of what he has called the "little flu", saying he would not be seriously affected. He has opposed lockdowns, which he says hurt the economy.

Brazil has the second-highest number of Covid-19 cases and deaths in the world, after the US.
